When I Call

God's plan is somehow incomplete without each and every one of us. When God wants to get something done in this world, He calls on the members of His church -- members of the body of His son, the Christ. Therefor, when we fail to take care of ourselves to the extent that we are no longer able to respond to God's call to both love ourselves (for are we not images of God?) and serve Him in this world, we rob ourselves of the chance to cooperate with the Creator of all that is. We rob ourselves of the only chance of lasting meaning. We rob ourselves of our crown, freely given from on high. When God calls, will you be able to respond, "yes Lord, here I am"?
